Shakira is an artist thathas always broke records.When she did her first album in english she beggin to be a pop, sensation for her music and her sexy video of her hip-shaking belly dance moves. Shakira Isabel Mebarak Ripoll her full name was born in february 2, 1977 in Barranquilla, Colombia into a poor family. Her mother was a native Colombian, and her father a Lebanesse descendent. So Shakira as a child soaked music from the two cultures and also hear music in English of her favorite bands.Shakira write her first song at eight and start winning contest at 10. But shakira first wasnt discover as a singer, in her school shakira was kicked out from the choire for her singing forcefully.

At 13 shakira moved to Bogota in serch for pursuing a modeling career, but instead she end signing a record deal with sony´s colombian division. From her frist english album Laundry Service to her rock and roll whenever wherever shakira will satnd on the rank of best siner-song writers in any language. The best thing of Laundry Service was that she could translate her Latin American sensibility into a new language. Shakira wanted to feel that love when she sing in Spanish the same in English.Shakira thinks that many woman indentify with her because she is the kind of women who is not going to wash her husbands clothe every day though she doesnt want to sound like a feminist leader.
