Our Weekends!
My respond for this week is about the question that Daniel B. publish on the Teenlife wiki. His
Question was if we had special places to go out with our friends, how often we went and how we felt afterwards. Well, here in Cartagena my friends and I usually hang out on weekends, this means that fridays and saturdays we go to places like McDonalds, Corral, Crepes, Otoyal, Club Cartagena, and campito. We go usually to this restaurants all the time, and this is also where most people of my age go, not only from my school but from other schools.
Club Cartagena and Campito are particularly different because Club Cartagena , is a club in which we go to the pool, to the restaurant, play soccer and go to parties. Most parties take place in this club and also birthdays celebration of little children too. In this club people also come to have classes, like swimming ones, or tennis classes. Now, campito is a place where we can play or see the soccer and baseball games. Many people go into tournaments of soccer and play, or they just hang out in the campito and eat pizza at the Carriola, another restaurant and then simply go and see the soccer game.
We also go to the pools on our buildings to have fun or we play sports that we are in school, like basket ball or soccer. We usually go to this places in the nights,except going to the pool or playing sports that we do on afternoons. We wait a whole week just to go on saturday or friday night to this places and have fun. But during the week we dedicate to make homework or projects together o and go to sport practices after school. Which we usually do 3 times a week, because here we prepare for the binational games and other tournaments we do with other schools in the country that are part of the same association we are in,(Southern Association of colleges and schools.)
This tournaments are very important for students, so they assist to all of the practices to be in the team and also have good grades to go to the different cities and play. This is why me and my friends always make are work during the week to have good grades for sports and also to be able to hang out on weekends. Still on weekends we also study on sundays and in the afternoons of saturdays. We also don’t hang out in restaurants and those places. We have some weekends in which we go to one of our houses and see movies, talk, and order food to restaurants. Which is a very cool plan and we don’t go out always.
After we have this great time on fridays and saturdays and still some sundays afternoons before school. We feel good because we had fun during the weekends in maybe at a party or the islands of one of our friends or things like that. But we also feel a little sad because weekend is over and we have to return to school again on monday for a whole week counting again the days in which the weekend comes back,
